In 2005 PORTALS received an LSTA grant to develop an online clearinghouse for continuing education. The project’s approach has been grounded in collaboration from the very beginning. Statewide focus groups in summer 2005 brought together librarians and library staff from all types of libraries—public, school, academic, special— to address the content, functionality, and marketing of this new resource. Results have been summarized and shared broadly.
