Presenter's bio
I have been a librarian about 15 years, working
in Special Libraries (Minnesota Historical
Society) Public (Stillwater (Mn) Public, Tigard,
Tualatin and Wilsonville Public in Oregon) and
Academic (Portland Community College.)
I've written articles that appeared in Library Journal and Public Libraries, and am co-author of the 2007 ALA Editions title Analyzing Library Collection Use with Excel.
I have given this workshop in Orange Park, Florida, and am booked to give it in West Palm Beach and Miami this coming August. I will also be presenting an online version for the Ontario Libary Association, also this August. I will also be teaching the "Collection Development" class for Emporia State University's Oregon cohort this summer. After that I'm going to Ashland to see Shakespeare. (Not in person. He's dead.)
Need more? I have curly hair, thinning unfortunately,
a wife and a cat and a dog. I live in Portland, Oregon, where it is raining.
