Portland State University Library Borrowing Policies

Any person from Portland State University who wishes to obtain or renew a PORTALS Pass must provide the following identification:

Students:
Undergraduates: PSU photo I.D. (or a non-photo library) card, with term sticker.
Graduates: PSU photo I.D. (or a non-photo library) card, with term sticker.
 Stickers Expire:
Fall 12/31/year
Winter: 3/31/year
Spring 6/30/year
Summer 8/31/year
Faculty:
PSU photo I.D. card with academic year sticker.
Emeritus faculty have both photo and non-photo PSU cards -- no stickers needed.
Staff:
PSU photo I.D. card with academic year sticker.
Other (special cases):
Non-photo PSU identification card used primarily for distance students have either term or academic year sticker; non-photo library cards can also be used by our students and should have a term sticker.
